ROBUST NEGATIVE RAKE BOX SCRAPER – HANDLED or UNHANDLED

This negative rake box scraper has a unique cutting profile that makes it ideal for cutting the side walls and bottoms of end grain boxes. The small radius point at the bottom corner of the scraper creates a smooth transition from a side wall to a flat bottom.  Made from nitrided High Speed Steel, it measures 3/4” across and 9/32″ thick. The bottom edges are radiused so that you can use it at an angle for even more effective cutting. Sharpening just the bottom bevel maintains the nitriding on the top edge. The handle is premium hard maple with a stainless steel ferrule.
