Some Grinders can be a little tricky to set up, or extra washers are needed to allow the nut to reach the wheel because the thread length on the shaft is not long enough. We searched high and low and ended up having these made special for us. Constructed out of extra hard machined 7075 Aluminum. These are purposely made very close to the shaft size so if you want to put them between the wheel and motor you should be able to do it without concern that the washer will "ride up" on the shoulder of the shaft next to the motor. They are dead flat.
