This large negative rake scraper is made of nitrided M42 and measures 1” across and 5/16 thick. The bottom edges are radiused so that you can use it at an angle for even more effective cutting. Sharpening just the bottom bevel maintains the nitriding on the top edge. Over time, you may eventually remove the top bevel and need to regrind it to maintain the negative rake. Just remember, there is heat treated 42 under the nitriding, so you will still have a superior tool.

HANDLED

This large round nosed bowl scraper is made of nitrided M42 and measures 1” across and 5/16 thick. The solid maple handle is 16” long and features a stainless-steel ferrule.
